Sharada Krishnan - President & Director of Logistics
Sharada Krishnan, the co-founder of Brindavani, is a senior at the University of Southern California where she is pursuing a B.S./M.A. degree in Occupational Therapy and a minor in early childhood education. After completing her initial Carnatic violin training with Smt. Radhika Devrajan, she is currently a disciple of Vidwan Sri Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Vidwan Sri Vittal Ramamurthy. Sharada has always believed that music makes us better people and brings us together in such a way that we can make the world a better place, so it is her privilege to be a part of Brindavani, an organization where those principles are guiding forces. She hopes that Brindavani empowers younger musicians to become leaders in the field of Carnatic music and create a closer community, and she looks forward to Brindavani's continued growth working towards these goals.

Adhiti Rajesh - Co-Director of Finance and Fundraising
Adhiti Rajesh, a co-founder of Brindavani, is a junior at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she is pursuing a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Chemistry. Adhiti Rajesh has been learning the Carnatic Violin since the age of 7. After initially learning from Smt. Radhika Devrajan, she is currently learning from Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy. She is very excited to see Brindavani create a network of Carnatic artists that support each other as well as the community. She hopes that in the future Brindavani will be able to help out many more causes and promote awareness of Carnatic Music across North America.

Ashvin Ravi - Co-Director of Finance and Fundraising
Ashvin was first introduced to music at the age of four and started learning from Smt. Saraswathi Chandrasekhar, and is now under the tutelage of Sri Ashvin Bhogendra. He also takes advanced lessons from Sri Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan. Ashvin has won many prizes from CMANA and the Cleveland Aradhana competitions, and is also winner of Carnatic Music Idol Junior USA Season 2. He is currently a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. Ashvin is extremely excited to be part of the Brindavani team, and hopes that Brindavani will be able to create a forum that will help emerging Carnatic artists grow and make a difference in our world, and simultaneously promote and help out many other new causes.

Sanjeev Raja - Co-Director of Public Relations and Technology
Sanjeev Raja is a disciple of Vidwan Sri Melakkaveri Balaji and has been receiving intense training in mridangam for the past 13 years. He has won many first prizes in the Cleveland Aradhana and CMANA music competitions and has performed in over 100 concerts and festivals in USA and India. Sanjeev is a sophomore at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he is studying Chemical Engineering and Computer Science. Sanjeev is also the Music Chair of Michigan Sahana, the University's Indian Classical Music and Dance organization. Sanjeev is thrilled to be a part of the Brindavani team and envisions that the organization will serve as a bridge between the Indian and North American communities, enriching both in the process.

Srinidhi Rajesh - Co-Director of Public Relations and Technology
Srinidhi Rajesh is a junior at South Brunswick High School. She was first introduced to Carnatic music at the age of 4 and was taught by her mother. She later continued learning from Smt. Neyveli Ramalakshmi and Smt. Prabha Ragunathan. Srinidhi is currently learning violin from Vidwan Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy. Srinidhi is delighted to be a part of the Brindavani team. She believes Carnatic music has the ability to make a difference in the world and looks forward to helping Brindavani spread and promote this art form throughout North America.

Samyuktha Sreeram is a 10th grader at Briar Woods High School in Virginia. She learns ghatam percussion from Sangeetha Kala Acharya Sri TH Subash Chandran and vocal music from Kalaimamani Smt. Charumathi Ramachandran. She has participated in various music festivals in the US and accompanied for concerts in US and Chennai. Samyu has also won awards at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and from the VVSF Foundation in Chennai. She was recently selected as an IndianRaga Fellow in 2017. Samyu is thrilled to be a part of the board. Brindavani is a wonderful platform that greatly fosters Carnatic music in North America and as a member of Brindavani, Samyu is looking forward to helping youth artists explore the art form and spread their music to the music-lover community.
