Sushmitha Ravikumar

Sushmitha Ravikumar is a Carnatic vocalist and violinist. She is learning vocal from Shri. Madurai R. Sundar, disciple of Sangeetha Kalanithi Shri. T.N. Seshagopalan and violin from Sri. Jayshankar Balan. She has won several awards and prizes in all major competitions for both vocal and violin in USA and India fine arts, including M.S. Subbulakshmi award, Junior Musician Award, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, People's choice award, and First runner up award in Jaya TV North American Carnatic Music Idol. She has accompanied many concerts for local artists as well as artists from India and dance arangetrams. Sushmitha is a junior at The Ohio State University in Columbus pursuing Chemical Engineering.
