Sanjeev Raja

Sanjeev Raja is a disciple of Vidwan Sri Melakkaveri Balaji and has been receiving intense training in mridangam for the past 9 years. He was won many first prizes in the Cleveland Aradhana and CMANA music competitions and has performed in several concerts and festivals in USA and India. Sanjeev is a sophomore at Pittsford Mendon High School in Rochester, NY and plays the saxophone in his school's Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. He is also an avid tennis player and plays for his high school Varsity team.
