Keshav Nelevai

Keshav Nelavai is a 2nd year Bio-medical science student from the University of Central Florida. He started learning the Mridangam at the age of seven. Keshav is a student of the Sruthi Laya Kendra founded by Guru Sri Kaaraikkudi Mani. For the past nine years, he has been learning Mridangam from Guru Sri Kaaraikkudi Mani and Sri Kumar Kanthan of New Jersey. Keshav was awarded 1st prize in the Thani Avarthanam category at the Cleveland Aradhana music festival competition. In the past, he has performed at Mani Sir's MLA concert at Krishna Ghana Sabha, Hamsadwani, VDS Arts Academy, Nandalala mission, and several places in the USA. He has played for both vocal and bharatanatyam arangetrams. Last year he had his Mridangam arangetram accompanying Sri Sikkil Gurucharan.
