Gopal Ravindhran

Gopal has been learning mridangam from Shri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan and also from Sri Neyveli Narayanan.

Gopal has given mridangam accompaniment in concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area, across the US, and in India over the last several years. He has also participated in various competitions and has won many prizes in the SFO Bay Area, Chicago and Cleveland.

In 2009, Gopal held his mridangam Arangettram concert accompanying well known artistes Delhi P Sunderrajan on vocal and Vittal Ramamurthy on violin.

Gopal Ravindhran is a freshman at NJIT at Newark.
